JEFFREY S. BURKET, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Burket trained at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and then completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at the Medical Center of Delaware prior to completing his Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Michigan. He then spent two years in private practice in Newport News, Virginia. He is the Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Prevention at Canonsburg Hospital as well as the Section Chief of Infectious Diseases.
CHRISTINA M. WELC, D.O.
Dr. Christina Welc trained at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. She then completed her Internal Medicine internship as well as residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital prior to completing her Infectious Disease fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She is the Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship at Jefferson Hospital.
AMANDA M. MICHAEL, D.O.
Dr. Amanda Michael trained at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then completed her Internal Medicine internship, residency, and chief residency at Drexel University College of Medicine (Hahnemann University Hospital) prior to completing her infectious disease fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine where she was chief fellow. She joined the practice following her fellowship in 2014. She is the Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship at St. Clair Hospital and was awarded “Top Physicians under 40 in Pennsylvania” in 2018, as well as “Top Infectious Disease Physician” in 2020. She currently serves as the Division Chief of Infectious Diseases at St. Clair Hospital and chairs the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
ARCADIO AGUDELO HERNANDEZ, M.D.
Dr. Agudelo trained at Universidad National Autonoma de Mexico and went on to complete his Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then continued and completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has a wide berth of experience, having practiced previously as well as a Hospitalist for Washington Hospital and also has experience working in the Bureau of Disability Determination.
MICHAEL J. BURKITT, M.D.
Dr. Burkitt trained at the University of Tennessee and completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency as well as his chief residency at Allegheny Health Network. He then completed his Masters of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. He served as an attending Medical physician at Western Pennsylvania Hospital and was Assistant Professor of Medicine at Temple University. He then completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Cornell University.
